Akhand Paath Sahib
When a family wishes to undertake the commitment of listening to the entirety of Gurbani from the Sri Guru Granth Sahib, the Gurdwara Sahib provides accommodations and assigns a Granthi Singh (preacher) to facilitate this sacred endeavor.
The Akhand Paath lasts for 48 hours until it is fully completed. Throughout this time, family members engage in listening to Gurbani, participating in Kirtan, and performing sewa (service) in the Langar (community kitchen).
